Past Life Portraits

Ever had a moment of intense déjà vu, like you’ve been somewhere before? What if that feeling is connected to a past life you’ve lived?

Déjà vu isn’t just a coincidence. It could be your soul remembering places, faces, or moments from a lifetime long ago. A Past Life Portrait helps you unlock those moments of déjà vu and shows you who you were. Imagine finally understanding why certain places or people feel so familiar, as if you’ve known them forever.

With your portrait, you’ll gain:

  • Insight into the memories you’ve carried through lifetimes

  • Clarity on those moments of déjà vu that keep haunting you

  • A visual key to unlock the story of your past life

Past Life Portraits

Past Life Portraits is a spiritual art service that combines intuitive art with soul exploration. Psychic artist Vera Solara, creator of Past Life Portraits, blends art and spirituality, aiming for people to explore their deeper sense of identity. Through her Past Life Portraits, Vera intends for each individual to connect with their previous incarnations and explore deeper aspects of their soul's journey. The idea is that Vera connects to your energy or “soul essence” and channels an image of who you might have been in a past life. She uses intuition, creative visualization, and a blend of metaphysical techniques to “tune in” to a person’s soul energy, then she paints or illustrates what she perceives as their likeness in a past life.

Each portrait comes with a visual depiction, a hand-drawn or painted image and a written biography. The biography tells the story that describes the personality, life experiences, and lessons of that past self, and is meant to make people reflect on their emotions, patterns, and purpose in the present lifetime.

Reincarnation

Past Life Portraits connects to the idea of reincarnation by drawing from the belief that the soul lives many lifetimes, carrying forward memories, lessons, and traits from one existence to the next. In this view, each portrait represents a visual interpretation of who you were in a past incarnation, not as historical proof, but as a symbolic reflection of your soul’s ongoing journey. The concept suggests that understanding these “past selves” can make you understand your current experiences, your emotional patterns, or natural talents that feel familiar or unexplainable.

Past Life Portraits aren’t about proving reincarnation but rather offering spiritual insight and self-discovery. So, while reincarnation is the spiritual framework, Past Life Portrait serves as an artistic expression of that idea, making people explore their connection to those supposed past experiences in a visual way.

Many people use their past life portraits as a meditative tool to better understand their strengths or life path. They view the portraits as a healing experience combining imagination, symbolism, and self-awareness through art. The portraits themselves are intended to act as a spiritual mirror for personal insight; to have you reflect on recurring patterns or unresolved mysteries that might feel connected across lifetimes.

Some people are drawn to Past Life Portraits because they believe in reincarnation. Others appreciate Past Life Portraits as an artistic way to connect with history, myth, or ancestral roots. If someone feels a deep affinity for a certain era, culture, or time period, the portrait can serve as a symbolic link to that past. Past Life Portraits are often custom-made for individuals. People enjoy the personal nature of these artworks, as they can see themselves represented in a different time or place, sometimes even wearing different clothes, in different settings, or holding different roles.

People who have undergone past life regression therapy or have an interest in discovering more about their past selves often enjoy having a visual representation of the experience. It provides them with something tangible to connect to emotionally.

Even for those who don't necessarily believe in reincarnation, the idea of being able to visualize past lives triggers curiosity about the unknown and the metaphysical. There is an inherent mystery to Past Life Portraits. The symbolism in the portraits holds personal meaning to the person who commissioned the portrait. The symbolic elements like animals, specific colors or objects add another layer of depth, giving the portrait a deeper significance beyond just the visual representation.

Many portraits feature a surreal or dream-like quality. Mystical, ethereal elements such as soft lighting, otherworldly settings, or blending time periods in one image. This allows the viewer to step into a different reality, even if only momentarily. For some, the portraits evoke feelings of nostalgia, like being able to look back at a former version of themselves that they feel intimately connected to. This can bring a sense of closure or completeness.

The written biographies provided alongside the portraits are intended to relate the character and lessons from the previous lifetime, who you were in that lifetime, and how that past experience could connect to your current life today.

They aim to shed light on:

  • Personality patterns or emotional feelings that seem to repeat in your life

  • Talents, passions, or fears that might have roots in a previous existence

  • Relationships or connections that feel unusually deep or very familiar

  • Life lessons or karmic cycles you may still be working through

Problem-Solving

While Past Life Portraits aren’t necessarily meant to “solve” problems in a direct or practical sense, people describe them as helping with personal clarity and spiritual insight that can inspire healing, in much the same way that art therapy or spiritual reflection can. Past Life Portrait doesn’t claim to fix specific issues or provide concrete answers. However, it can be considered personally therapeutic in processing emotions, finding perspective, or introspective expressions.

Past life portraits are often cherished for these key reasons:

  • Gaining emotional clarity about patterns or feelings that can’t easily be explained.

  • Finding meaning in life challenges by viewing them as lessons carried over from past experiences.

  • Releasing emotional blocks through understanding and symbolism.

  • Reconnecting with inner strengths or forgotten aspects of themselves.

People also use Past Life Portraits as a way to:

  • Understand repeating life patterns and why they keep facing similar challenges or relationships.

  • Heal emotional wounds by giving meaning or closure to feelings of fear, loss, or guilt.

  • Recognize hidden strengths or passions that can guide them in the present.

  • Feel more connected to their purpose or identity, seeing their life as part of a larger spiritual journey.

In essence, the portraits bring insight, peace, self-awareness, and aim to encourage reflection and inner growth. Vera's goal is to provide people with a deeper understanding of themselves and their spiritual journey.

Whether it’s about creating a visual tie to a past existence, fulfilling a curiosity, or simply enjoying the art itself, Past Life Portraits offer a combination of personal connection, artistic beauty, spiritual exploration, and emotional resonance.

I like the abstract idea of soul energy, with using portraits as pathways capturing more than just the physical appearance of the subjects' current selves but also carrying the imprints of all the lives they've lived. It reinforces the mystical connection one can have to the spiritual and the unknown.

I'm really impressed with the psychic aspect of this art form. When you think about the intuition process that goes into the creation of the portraits, then the metaphysical exploration of these past existences, and bringing all of this to life on canvas... it's just on another level.
